Have it your way ...

You may think your favorite program has a lot of preferences available for you to change. You haven't seen anything until you've browsed through Dopus' preferences.

I'm going to lightly touch on the 16 main areas and 40 some odd sub areas of preferences - just touching on some of the highlights that really make Dopus stand out.

Colors/Fonts/Skin
I'm going to leave it at this: You can change ANYTHING'S color, font ... you can apply images to almost anything. Its a skinner's dream. Check out The Resource Page for images, buttons, and other stuff for skinners.

Aliases
Create English friendly names for long UNC or paths. This lets you get to your stuff faster.

File Operations
There are tons of little things .. like automatically clearing the +r attributes from files you're copying from a CD (ain't that cool?). Or how many times to wipe securely your delete files.

FTP Settings
Set up sites, options for connecting, etc.

Listers
How they open, how they work, how they look. You really can do everything to them.

Plugins
What viewer and plugins you want to be active in Dopus. They have a plugin, for example, to handle RAR archives.

Viewer
You can change all aspects of the viewer - including if you want slideshows, how they work, etc.

You can set up pretty much any arrangement of preferences that you want. Now that you have it looking and acting the way you want, its time to move things around - add functionality that may not already be there. Heck, you can even integrate OTHER PROGRAMS like NERO into your Dopus ...
