WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Good thing no one ever thought of doin this stuff when I worked for Red Cross. the people on the other end thought we were telemarketers, and we just wanted their damn blood. I would hate to have to deal with what I just watched...or rather heard. Most interesting call I ever dealt with was:

"This is John with the Red Cross, can I speak to Mrs. Martin?"
(little kid answers) "my mommy is in the shower, want me to get her?"

Why I said no I'll never know. She was only 32 at the time. Kid would have been traumatized, though.

Yeah, I heard that. It was awesome.

How about this crank call. Some guy found out his girlfriend cheated at an office party after he had bought a £2,000 engagement ring.

    He got payback.

I don't have a lot of time to address all the posts I want to, kinda busy. But this one had me roling on the floor so I had to say something. I actually run a call center and would have loved to have been monitoring this call! Thanks for posting this one.

    Tom Mabe

Has anybody heard Tom Mabe's album "Revenge on the Telemarketers"?

It's his taped calls of telemarketers calling him, it's hilarious!

Meh, I dunno .... is all that really necessary? I know telemarketing sucks, but the people who do the calling have a job to do just like everyone else. If it came down to a choice between being a telemarketer, flipping burgers, or being thrown out on the street, which would you choose? It's like the Gamestop employees who have to ask customers if they'd like to reserve their copy of whatever. Sure, you can give them sh*t, but you're really taking it out on the wrong person.
