The purpose of this thread was to make people go watch the Steve-note. Here's a great quote about something we were discussing right here on these forums:

"There was an article recently that said iTunes sales were declining. I don't know what data they're looking at, but here's our data." ...and then he says that Apple doubled their iTunes sales base over this past year.

No, as opposed to just seamlessly upgrading your OS X to 10.5 Leopard with NO EXTRA CRAP REQUIRED. Vista's upgrade process is painful, and I will tell ALL of you EXACTLY how painful it is, because I plan to do it.

From what? OS X 10.4? Give me a break. I don't see OS X running on that much older hardware. VISTA will also run just fine on a lot of older PC's. You might not get all the features, but it does run.

I seemlessly upgraded from XP to XP SP1 to XP SP2, which is about the equivilent of going from 10.3 to 10.4 to 10.5....
