Share your own Wii related accidents.

Maybe I should have done a more extensive search, but I looked through 2 or so pages in the Wii forum here, and didn't see anything related to Wii accidents happening in the home. Not talking about accidents you've heard about on a website. I'm talking about your own accidents that you or a family member or friend have caused.

For instance, my father was playing Wii Sports (Bowling)...and yes, unfortunately, I have to constantly unhook my Wii from downstairs, bring it upstairs into the living room, and so forth. On with the story, my father swung his arm back, and I'm laying on the couch behind him, and like an idiot, my left leg is just hanging out, and WHAM, he hit it. Thankfully, the remote and my leg are unharmed. Now if only I can get them all to use the strap since they're such agressive sports players, and GODDAMN WII HOGS!!!!1!!1!!!!!!!1!!!

*sigh* They don't like putting the strap on their wrists cause there's only one remote and when they're playing for 2 or more players, they don't like having to take the strap off and pass the remote to the next person.

Anyhoo, share your accidents, my friends!

My bro was playing bowling in a room with a low ceiling and *WACK* his hand went into the light. Anywho after a hospital trip and stitches, he was fine

2-player tennis - my opponent took a big backswing and caught me square in the back of my left hand - nearly broke it but I still won

Owww. Yeah, the ceiling in our basement is low, so I have to watch myself when playing down here. In the living room, the ceiling is higher, but there's too much crap in the way, and 2 little dogs are always "on the alley/court/fairway/home plate/ring"

Ok, here is my minor incident story.

My 3 year old daughter who plays tennis (only the serve part) by making a "throw in the air" movement and then sits on the ground until she can serve again.

Took her on my lap when we started to play bowling. When she needed to throw the ball, she made the same movement hitting me in the face.

It was a "strike" in the face

Damn. Well, as long as no one hits their little kids in the face. I could never forgive myself if I hit any of my kids anywhere with the remote.

At least I'll be taking a break from swinging and throwing. I rented Trauma Center and Excitetruck from Gamefly, so my arm can relax now.
