The Official "Official" DS Thread (newbies, check here first!)

This is the OFFICIAL index of OFFICIAL threads. Maybe if we keep all of these in one spot, we won't have to 1) have newbies start new threads and 2) have to keep "official" threads sticky. I'll add what I can find, feel free to post others here and I'll absorb them into this list. Mods, feel free to help me out!

    More to come!

It may be a good idea to organize the list by topic.

Yeah the forums moved to a new host and the URL to the forum changed from http://www.monroeworld.com/forums to http://monroeworld.com/forum

    EDIT

I see Shane fixed the links.

    newb question

    Hi guys,
I'm just getting back into the console scene and picked up my DSlite last thursday. I also ordered an R4 right away.(should be here sometime before weds) I am very interested in running homebrew programs, but now very afraid because of the possibility of bricking my DSlite. I also read that to avoid bricking the DSlite I should flash it. Where can i find information on how to flash and the probability of me bricking my dslite w/o flashing?
    Thanks,
    Padreko

First, with an R4 you dont need to flash it (I think).
Second. A good place for homebrew apps and games is www.dev-scene.com
Third. Ds bricking only hapenned a few years ago, and you dont really need to worry about it.
