Bullet Candy for PC - Robotron style SHMUP.

Check out the game "Bullet Candy", pc shareware ($10):

    http://temp.macdock.com/charliesgames/

Geometry wars/Robotron style action. Crazy stuff. Turn on shrapnel to full and watch the screen _explode_ .

And it supports dual stick controllers (if you have e.g. a psx controller hooked up to pc, good to go!).

No offense but that looks unplayable.

Try and judge for yourself. I think it is very playable. Much more playable than it looks on those stills. It is easier to see what's going on when stuff is moving. However, my gfx-card is not quite fast enough to keep 60 fps at high load . But that's an age-old Rage128.

This game has some innovative enemies, don't you think?

Ah, c'mon Shane and Womp, you're always so harsh with Robotron wanna-bees ... I might give it a try myself.

As you know; I actually enjoyed Mutant Storm so maybe I'll fire up the dual shock + adapter to try this out.

Nah, not at all...I was being serious...The screen shots look more like wallpaper for your desktop.

I admit, I had fun with Geometry Wars but I can't even see my player on those screens.

Just tried this game. I'm sorry but... It's horrible!!!

I mean, if I want to play with Keyboard only, why doesn't it let me configure movement with W,A,S,D and fire with Up,Down,Left,Right?

It both moves and fires with W,A,S,D! That is just lame.

    Pass...
