    The MP3 player thread

I was gonna place this in F&FB, but I don't want fighting. I just wanna know about what MP3 players you like/why you like them/etc. I just sold my ipod and am in need of a player!

I like the Ipod. I love my Ipod video :P Was free too which made it even better.

Womp showed me a nice winamp plugin which allows me to just drag & drop with zero fuss too. Screw bloated-ass Itunes

Search the forum for SANSA .. that's my recommended player. Longly lamented over already.

I love the Sansa. The 6 and 8 GB is cheap compared to a Nano... and the features!

If you use your player to listen to a lot of audiobooks and other 'spoken word' audio files like RGR, check out the offerings from iAudio. If not, then I can help you, as I don't use my players for music

I picked up a Creative Zen V a couple of weeks ago, I think it's great, I'm very happy with it.

I use a pocket pc as my mp3/media player. It's probably overkill, but it's kept me from needing to buy a music player for a long time. I look at it as a kind of "open source" music/media player.

I'm happy with my 30gig video. Got a few episodes of Sealab on there and around 7 days of music and its not even half full yet.

I think a lot of people here don't like iPods, but my wife and I love 'em. We got a 30gig iPod video a few months ago and a hot pink 8gb nano this weekend. They work great but they're expensive.

I have a 4gig iPod mini. It's an allright player, but the reason I bought it was because it was pretty cheap. I do hate having to use Itunes with it though, so I think my next purchase will be an iRiver. The iRiver E10 looks sweet.
