"Wonderful innovative titles are 'sometimes' ignored [by consumers], while some repetitive titles with minor improvements in game play and graphics provide much better returns to the games publishers,"

'Obviously Nintendo has recognized the dangers presented by rooms full of arm waving children. This shows they care enough to make sure that the parents can identify the bodies.'![]()

NO A POWER BLOCK! why!
"It is entirely seemly for a young man killed in battle to lie mangled by the bronze spear. In his death all things appear fair."
That power brick better be universal voltage.
A mistake that Microsoft and Sony have made in the past were NOT providing universal power bricks/power supplies.
There are several reasons putting the power supply IN the console is a bad idea:
1) Power Supplies generate a lot of Heat
2) They make the Console Bigger
3) They make it harder for the console to pass FCC certification. See Retro Gaming Radio interview with the guy that did the Channel F (Help me, Oh, Obi Wan Flare!). Sorry can't remember the guys name, great inteview too!
4) If the Power Supply Fails (Power Supply Failure is very common in electronics), it makes it more expensive to service.
By putting the power supply outside the console they get rid of all the above mentioned problems.
At least it's on the cord rather than the plug like in the old days.
