    Xbox Live Arcade

Microsoft is offerring Xbox Live arcade discs for free, not including shipping. I got my disc, and I must say I am very disappointed. It come with Ms Pac Man, and its the exact same version that is the PS1's Namco museum. I can tell because the sound is exactly the same(which doesnt sound like the arcade). What really disappointed me is the lack of selection of games and also they are pretty much over priced. Most games arent even classic games. I would be willing to pay an extra monthly fee for a huge library of retro games instead of having to pay $9.99 and higher for games.

Why complain if it was for free? The PS1 Namco Museum version of Ms Pac-Man isn't bad. Better that than if Microsoft gave you the Jakks version of Pac-Man.

Well since the whole point of the disc is to have you buy downloadable content, I really wished they had much better content and more choice than what's currently available.

This is just typical 'cash in on the fad half-hearted' crap as per always. Really no surprise in it - esp. with MS's history of producing half-assed simulations of classic games as a first party company (Remember Arcade and Return to Arcade?)

Actually I found Microsoft Arcade (the one with all the Atari games) to be pretty decent.

Have to say it has the best playing version of Missile Command. I like that the game will automatically select a base to fire from based on where your cursor is. Then you can just worry about the incomming missiles, and not what base to fire from. I wish the Missile Command in the Atari Anniversary collection on the PS1 had that option.
