    Welcome back!

I was surprised to get the email that the forums were back up. After what happened in the spring (or whenever it was) I didn't think we'd ever see it again. When the forums were closed I migrated like many others to ArchairArcade. While the members were just as friendly there the topics got a little too deep for me. I take part in most forums for entertainment value. After Armchair I moved on to DigitalPress. There the topics were more on my level and interesting as it most discussions were about classic gaming and clooectinghowever the members were not quite as friendly.

So I am thrilled to have the forums back. Thank you both for bringing them back to us. Hopefully we can have some fun and friendly discussions.

Seems like a good place to ask.
Did the member ratings get erased?
Went from a Senior to a Junior member.

Not that it hurts or anything just wondering if something went awry

No but the old posts from the old RGR forums were not reimported back so the posts you made there do not count anymore.

Alright, let me put this to rest ...

The PROFILES of everyone from the old system were still here - they keep the message count with the user (its not calculated from how many messages you ACTUALLY have on the system - unless you force it to).

When I cleaned up the dangling forums and stuff, it recalculated everyone's message count based on ACTUAL messages on the board at that moment.

So, its all much more realistic now, based on the CURRENT incarnation of the board.

    Don't worry - I went from like 5600 to 1500

Oops Sorry to open the can of worms.
I had the title coming into the new and improved forums not from the days of old.

I just noticed it and thought it was kinda funny.
Funny in the ha ha way.

The need for a title is not ever my reasons for posting.
    This is all for fun.
Like the classic games we all so cherish.
Can’t we all just think of our quarters gone? (to be read like the now infamous Rodney quote)
