My local Walmart has started filling in it's DS slots with DS games. Before they would place GBA games there. The PSP section of the store is minimizing every month. Half of the PSP slots are filled with PS2 games and I see only 1 or 2 movies now.

I went to the local Wal-Mart a few days ago and was surprised. There's still an end-cap of half UMD movies and half PSP games. The DS shares a case with the GBA but is mostly filled with GBA carts and only two rows of DS games. No DS Lites and one blue DS. I don't think too many people around here go for the handhelds.
One WalMart in my area (Las Vegas) doesn't even have DS lite on the shelf yet. Most others do have DS lite. I haven't noticed WalMarts ramping up for DS sales here, yet. However, Fry's and Best Buy do seem to be ramping up for DS.
Walmart is punching the gba out of their section and moving in the ds cartridges.

Yeah, the DS is getting mad props around here. My nearby Best Buy has two FULL RACKS of DS stuff ... which is amazing.
