This is nerdy and maybe a little creepy...

... but has anyone looked for WIFI open access points in your neighborhood with your DS? I took my DS and drove down the street in my car and I clicked on 'search for access point'. Amazingly enough at 40 MPH I can get a list of WIFI signals. And whats even more amazing that more people leave their routers unlocked then people who do lock them. I found at least 8 unlocked connections on my street alone. Some of my favorite router names are FoShizzle and B*tch Network

I've tried, but I can't seem to get one that's open. Most of them are named lynksys and stuff like that.

One of my neighbours hadn't even changed their default admin password on their router.

    Mmm, which port to forward?

Yeah, I see a few of them here. There's one usually up called "Led Zeppelin" and an unsecured one called "POLICE." Could that one be...nah, they wouldn't be that stupid, would they? Maybe if I lived in Fargo or Happy, Texas they would leave it open.

Yes, no surprise, people are generally pretty stupid, (me included - but not enough to leave my wireless network unprotected)

    Funny story...to me anyway.

When I finally bought my Nintendo Wi-Fi Adapter sometime ago, I went through the process of installing it & it all went very smoothly. (Keep in mind that I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to tech stuff).

Away I go with AC & Tetris & about a week later, I notice that my father's using the PC & has disconnected the dongle, yet I was still playing AC online. I then realised that I was actually using my next door neighbour's connection & not mine. Hehe...

I have 8 wireless networks around me according to my laptop. Two of which are secured, four have the default name and admin:admin password and login, and two at least changed the password. My DS can connect to all six that are unsecured.
