DVD to DIVX for use on the GP2X

I was looking to rip a few DVDs to DIVx for the GP2X. I took a look at what was on the web for a how to and most of what I found was a multi, multi step hassle rather than a one step deal. Is there any tool out that produces a good 1 step DIVX from a DVD?

AutoGK ... it looks far more complicated than it is.

Rip using DVD Decryptor to FILES (not ISO) and you're pretty much ready to go. Choose a sound track, quality, etc. and go get a snack. It takes a long time, but it produces nice, compatible XVID files the GP2x can play.

You can try to encode to 320x2x0 (which for some reason won't play on the PC, but will in the GP2x). You're looking for file sizes of about 350MB for a full movie.

Divx works too - but screw Divx. Xvid is open source, open format - superior to Divx.

    I hate Divx...
