The DS is an eye-sore, no?

So, I've been playing my DS Lite non-stop for the past few days, and after a while of playing, my vision starts to get very blurry. Even after an hour of play, my eyes start to lose their focus.

I can (and do) stare at the computer monitor for hours on end, but my eyes rarely hurt. I am currently using the DS on the lowest brightness setting, and I'm usually in a somewhat well-lit room.

Does anyone else experience this problem? Or, does anyone have any further ideas of how I stare at the DS screen longer without blurring my vision.

Do you think increasing the brightness would help? I figured the brighter it was, the more my eyes would hurt..

I guess it would be just as bad as if the light was too dim.

Well if you're used to a large pc sceens then the smaller ds screen will strain your eyes.

When I was a truck driver I had to wear specs when driving at night or I would get headaches.

Even though you don't realise it, your eyes are working much harder.

I use brightness three for the fact that playing on a DIM screen (AKA DS Phat or brightness one) makes me squint a bit more to see details on game, and I'm not even farsighted. My dad on the other hand plays his DS at arms length just to make out the screen period.

In anycase I've gotten "DS Fatigue" where my vision would blur but that was when playing at 11 at night in bed before I get to sleep, no matter WHAT the brightness setting was set on. And when playing Tetris, I get phantom blocks in my eyes well after I've switched off for the day.

Try turning up the brightness. Also, A computer screen is much different than a DS screen in terms of what it does with someone's eyes. Especially if we're talking a CRT monitor here.

And when playing Tetris, I get phantom blocks in my eyes well after I've switched off for the day.
Dude, you might want to get checked out on that .

this happened tp me when playing my little bro's Bright GBA SP. I hope it doesn't affect me this time. I really want the lite because I play it in the car a lot, while my Mom shops at Robinson's May for hours!
