Has anyone heard any confirmation or additional speculation mentioned in this article pointing to a potential built in projector for the Wii????

I'm going to say that this is rumor only. We'll know for sure this week though, as tomorrow E3 is happening. Don't forget to check up on Nintendo's release information LIVE through: http://e3.nintendo.com
I think I've speculated on this a few months ago (but don't expect me to find that thread now!)
Basically: I would not be surprised at all if something like this turns out to be true, and I *would* be very pleased, naturally![]()

If even A TENTH of what these pages contain is true, then indeed the revolution is coming...
MY GOD. If this is close to true ... the Xbox360 and PS3 better pack it up and GO HOME.

If THAT is in the Revolution ... I just can't believe any of this...
Everyone will FORGET the name Wii ... because it won't matter ...
Jesus, thoughts?

"Consider the improbable is possible"
So... after all... Minority Report is possible.
I'm speechless.
There's another thread on the first link, perhaps you want to merge this one with that ?
About the second link ... I've been posting about augmented reality as being (eventually) the future of interactive experiences for months on this forum ... in fact, recently I posted this demonstration of an augmented reality project for the Gizmondo working in realtime by using it's built-in camera, etc. Yes, THAT Gizmondo
I don't have the time to search for another thread now (it's pretty old), but remember that new "eye toy" camera for the XB360 ? Well, it's not an eye-toy clone (as it turns out) but instead capable of interpreting the environment in 3D (as opposed to simple 2D for eye-toy). That , combined with enough processing power (tons of it is necessary) could allow for augmented reality games as well.
Amazing! If your TV remote can look closer to the real object then that is very sweet indeed. A Virtual Boy on major steroids that doesn't suck. Bringing the experience to you instead of the other way around. Why does this reality have to suck?

This really sends shivers down my spine...in a good way and not the "im scared ****less" kinda way. Can't wait till Wednesday.
I couldn't find the original ... moderators, feel free to merge...
The only question I have is .. how do you make all this in a $199 console?
I can't wait for E3 ...
