    My dilemma

While feeling myself the other day I noticed that I had a wart on my scrotum. I really don’t want to go to the doctor given the location of the wart. I’ve been to the doctor to get warts removed before on my hand. They froze them and peeled them off. But thwe warts would reappear weeks afterward. I had to go through the process many times until I finally got fed up with the whole thing and burned them off with a soldering iron. It worked, they never came back. Well this is the thing, should I go and get this checked out and have strange people fondle my sack. Should I break out the soldering iron and apply very carefully? Or maybe I should just leave it there. It doesn’t hurt or anything. But then chicks might ask questions…this sucks

This is no dilemma. There really is only one course of action and you know it.

Get to a doctor. Sooner rather than later. Testicular cancer is a killer...

    A doctor now are we?

These things can spread from inside to out...

Even if it is 'just' a wart, are you sure its not an STD?

You're suggesting ignoring a potentially life threatening thing.

At the very least, its going to reduce your chances of getting laid (or at least seeing the same girl twice ).

You're allegedly a responsible adult. Go to the doc, get it checked out.

If, as you suggest, you get it confirmed its a minor blemish that can be safely ignored, then its your choice.

Me, there's no way I'd risk any damage to my tackle - way too much at stake to put that on the line.

Not really, no. I've never had a problem with going to the doc for this stuff. Hell, I had a whole roomful of people tugging at my bits when I was snipped a couple of years back. Did you know they do that under a local anaesthetic?

Do you actually have a family doctor that you go to for every 6 month - 1 year physicals? If not you should, even IF you THINK you are fine. That doctor wouldn't be a "Stranger" and trust me what you have there is nothing compared to what he's seen or used to dealing with. Hell, I get my nards fondled two times a year, and a finger shoved up my ass by my doc for the very reasons stated in the thread already. Is it fun? No. Is it embarrassing? At first. But Its standard stuff and you'll feel a lot better when its done. My doc is a real cool guy and he'll say stuff like "Are you keeping an eye on these puppies?" to kind of ease the situation. heh.

Its really not a hard thing man, just suck it up...do it and be done with it. If you don't have a doctor just find one that you are comfortable with, ask some friends or family if they know anyone that would be good to go to that will treat you well. Some of these doctors suck. I had one that after waiting 20 min in a waiting room would take me back and examine me 5 min, take my pressure and out I go. Thats not good medicine. These last 4 years of going to this other doc, when I go in there its like I am going through boot camp.

And don't be a afraid or feel any less like a man by coming out and asking "Hey doc, whats up with this growth on my ballsy?" Seriously, wart or not if left unchecked that stuff can and could develop into something bigger, especially as you get older.

And I'd highly recommend NOT using a soldering iron, this isn't your hand you are dealing with, the skin isn't the same down there and IF you have another physiological reason for this to be happening, a soldering iron won't help you anyway.

As Antiriad said, no it doesn't...

This is serious stuff dude. No, really.

Did you know MEN are the ones least likely to visit a doctor for stuff like this for THIS VERY reason? You wouldn't believe how many easily curable things that men ignore that turn life threatening because they are afraid their doctor or nurse will see their one-eyed monster.

No I didn't see the humor. I wouldn't find having a wart or a growth on my balls to be terribly amusing, boy STUPID ASS me!!

And you say I have a problem?
