The Simpsons before that mentioned Xbox. A few weeks back, Arrested Development, also on Fox, featured several classic computers including an Apple II, Commodore Pet and a Kaypro 2, the latter of which was featured in an extended sequence. Over at ABC, My Name is Earl often features the "Crabman" playing an Atari 2600...
It's always a treat to see this stuff mentioned with a wink, but certainly last night's Family Guy took the cake for classic references in general, more so than even is usual...

yyyeah...
Family Guy is off and on...lately it's been WAY off. I have NOT been inclined to watch FG due to crappy previews. I think Fox is intentionally killing FG. Either that or FG is continually putting out craptacular shows.
I also think the Simpsons is being whored out the yin-yang.

It got picked up for like 35 more episodes ... I think its going ok.
The shows HAVE been hit or miss this season, truly. But its still a great show.

When will the Volume 4 of FG be out? I don't understand what the deal is. I personally liked "The Courtship of Stewie's Father" although most Disney fans HATED it...I liked it mainly because I took it for what it was: a total lampoon on Disney, having Disney do things they'd NEVER do in a million years, etc. BTW, did anyone else notice in that episode that the park was WAY more like Disneyland than Disney World? Seth McFarlane is an equal-opportunity lampooner. I want to truly see him lampoon that box from Microsoft. You could call it the Guy-Box 370 (blatant, i know, but hear me out). Then Quagmire gets the Guy-Box 370, and the first game that Quagmire gets: a porn game...
Don't think the Quagmire relationship's ever going to last, unless the girl's a real slut...

And Joe looks just a bit like Brian King (aka Arcadenut)...
