February 25, 2006 Edition Show Feedback

This episode we give you the skinny on the Nintendo DS Lite - everything we've managed to dig up about this new version of the DS coming this year. By popular demand, we review the Capcom horror survival game Resident Evil: Deadly Silence. We'll tell you about recent releases (if they are worth your cash) as well as let you know the big titles coming in the next weeks (what we favor and what we're staying away from). In our Touch & Go news segment, we'll tell you about the Opera web browser coming for the DS, forthcoming devices to make your DS a media machine, get the skinny on where to get the latest movie previews for this year's hottest games, how you'll be getting free demos downloaded to your DS - and more! We also tell you what's new with the website and how we're expanding to service you better!

    YEE-HAW!!! Thanks Shane!!!

Won't be downloading it for awhile. My college has such ****ty bandwidth that I can't download it from my dorm room. If you "quick-download" it inside Opera, is it better for lower-bandwidth high-speed users? jw.

Haven't heard it all yet (was watching the Olympic hockey final.. Sweden rock!!) but I do agree with you with the GBA slot on the old DS that that hole bothers me at times, I can't find a place to stick my fingers so I also have a GBA card there alot.. Now back to the show..

Also, I'm greatly looking forward to hearing you talking about the DS lite, when you get it..

I had a rough time while we were recording trying to contain my laughter when Shane would bring up his damn fanny pack.

I still cannot believe we ended up over the 3 hour mark...I hope people don't have a problem with the length, many I've spoken too can't seem to get enough so I figure its all good. And the exclusive hands on word from Shane about the DSLite will make for a KICK ASS show.

Chris, as long as the show is good (which it always is) you guys can make the show as long as you like. I love the show, and listening when I'm at work makes the day go faster. So don't ever cut the show short because you are afraid people don't like long shows.

Seriously, how many of us listen to it straight through without interruption? I think most of us listen to the show in segments. So it would be pretty difficult making the show TOO long. Keep up the good work guys!

This is great! I'm driving to the US this tuesday, so the Shane/Womp team will keep me awake during that boring highway!

Hmmm... the show is three hours long, that will be enough for the trip to the US and half of the trip back... if I'm lucky RGR will also be out and I'll be all set

Cool man, thats what I was hoping. I agree with the whole listening to the show in segments thing, thats how I listen to stuff like Retro Gaming Radio as well. Makes the time fly by in a long car ride or as you said at work.

Glad you are enjoying the show.
