Man, this is what pisses people off around here; you diss this thing like you allready broke 12 of 'em on launch day, and the thing's release date is still in hiatus.

Um, that was a sarcastic joke there. Notice the smiley face after the comment?

Maybe the PS3's boomerang controller will make the list. You throw it, and it doesn't come back.

Ok, a fair crack at the Rev AND PS3.

Anyway, the list should have included the ColecoVision controller. Playing a game with that stiff knob was worse than using the IntelliVision discpad.

Whats funny about the INTV controller...As a kid the disc never really bothered me so much as the number pad did. The worst offense is when you would press them and the damn button wouldn't "Pop" up again afterwards!

Oh, as an INTV owner I can relate to this. What I hated the most were the side buttons... very awkward.

And yeah, the disc was not a big deal for me, in fact I liked that you could move in 64 directions!

My beef with the side buttons was their crappy response and the fact that it was sometimes hard to tell if you even pressed them, they didn't depress much. But that disc was like a foreshadow to the analog sticks we all take for granted now.

That seemed like a good list until they got to 2. I didn't really care for the original Xbox controller either, but 2nd worst of all time? It was certainly functional, unlike some of the other controllers on the list that were practically broken out of the box. Sure it wasn't as good as the S, but what is? It was better than their previous (and other companies' for that matter) PC gamepads. I've read some comments from people with large hands that actually prefer the controller to its successor.

IGN certainly didn't do their research as Atari did later on do a 6 button controller for the Jaguar. For it to be the worst controller ever however is a bit of a stretch. The 5200 controller is far worse overall.

Craig Harris is probably the only IGN editor i like. He was the one they send to CGE (at least in the vegas days), and he proudly showed off his autographed copies of Pitfall and Yars' Revenge. his normal job is to cover GBA and DS games
