All I can say is... shame it didn't get the frontpage at digg just as I expected.

But it was a great first show.

I just have one request; will you discuss stuff like how to backup your own games and how to open the DS to play them?

Then Shane would lose the tons of money that Nintendo are throwing at him to big up their consoles!

    Well, somebody said it somewhere.

Listening to it now, I'm loving it. You guys have single pushed me into buying Electroplankton, Brain Training, Nintendogs and Trauma Center for my DS. My bro has trauma Centre, and you're right, it's absoloutly solid.

    Great show

Just listen to the first show and I liked it. I never would have thought they would have such cool games like Electroplankton, Brain Training, Nintendogs and Trauma Center for the DS. Nintendo is advertising so much on children's programs on TV for the DS, I thought it was going to be like the Gamecube where they are going after teenagers and children. Right now they are really pushing animal crossing.
I was wondering if it is possible to play gameboy advance games on the DS?

    Thanks,

    Darwin

With kick ass blastem'ups like Metroid Prime Hunters, Nintendo is going after EVERYONE with this thing.

Yes, GBA games play fine in the DS - in fact, if you don't have the GBA SP Lite (with the bright screens) the DS is almost like playing the games fresh ...

Be warned that the DS doesn't play GB/C games like the GBA does.

I remember firing up some old GBA games when I first got my DS. Nearly wept when I finally saw/heard the (fantastic) Castlevania games as they were meant to be played.

That is great that GBA games are pretty much compatiable. I notice that a lot of GBA games are going to the bargin bin since the Nintendo DS is getting more popular. I wanted to wait until the DS lite came out but I was thinking about buying a used DS on Ebay for right now. Has anybody done this? What is the going rate on Ebay?
I have been listening to the other dual screen radio shows on the way to work. I have a 40 minute drive each way and it is really nice to be able to listen to something like this.

I just listen to the 3rd show and they talk about how much it will be on ebay in the future. They said it would be around 50 to 60 dollars when the ds lite comes out. I have been checking ebay and they are selling for about 90 dollars plus shipping. I think that is way to high for a used ds. Walmart is having a sale this week on the ds and they have knocked 10 dollars off the price. So instead of 129.99 they are 119.99. I would imagine the price will go down lower later on.
