Where do you listen to RGR?

There might be a topic similar, but I don't have the time to search. Basically, I thought I'd share, and just in case others may want to, where you are when you're listening to RGR? Are you at home? Are you at work? Are you in the Handicapped Restroom at Mcdonalds listening to the show on your.....*shudder*... IPod?

Personally, right now, as I eat Sour Cream and Onion Chips at our Mac computers in school half an hour before class, I'm listening to part 1 of the Jerry Lawson interview.....is that Jeri Ellsworth in the background talking to you guys, Shane? Anyways....boys and....uh..girl, where do you listen to the shows? I know there are some of you who listen to it in the car. You guys can chime in, too. Go on!

Back in 2001 when I first heard RGR, I would listen at home, while surfing the net.

After a while I started burning them to CD and listening to them in the trains, on the way to work.

Then I would listen while at work, which is what I do now.

Doesn't a CD hold 70-80 minutes on each? And aren't a lot of the shows over...or wayyyy over 80 minutes??? What do you do then, bud? I thought of burning a few of his shows to CD, though right now I'm using my blanks for the Video Masters TV tests.

I had a STACK of CDs! It was tedious work, believe me. But since I didn't have any other portable hardware besides a CD-Walkman, that's what I had to work with.

What!?? Hey GMF, most CD players nowadays read MP3 files

Anyway, I usually split the show into 10 minute intervals; then I burn the MP3 files into a CD-RW and listen to it while commuting. Work is very close to home so my commute times are relatively short (15 to 20 minutes). Therefore listening to one whole episode takes like one week!

Lately; I've also been copying the MP3 files into my Zire 72 PDA (Using Card Export) and then I listen to them using Aeroplayer. I listen to the show tucked in bed (does it ring a bell Jakdin? ) Usually I fall to sleep after half an hour of listening, then I suddenly awake when the show is over .

The CD-Walkman I had (still have it!) is so old, it wouldn't play MP3 files, hence my gazillion CDs...

    Yeah, that rings a bell...

We should start an RGR Bedtime Fan Club... LOL! No, on the other hand, that sounds rather unpleasant.

I might be a member of the RGR Bedtime Fan Club too! When the show is 4 hours long, and its 2:30 AM in the morning, I sometimes fall asleep in my office chair

No! The show does not put us to sleep! That would be creepy.

Or the Shane R. Monroe couch pillow for when you're listening to the show laying on the couch!

Or the Shane R. Monroe Bathroom accessories set when you're listening to the show on the can!

Or Shane R. Monroe nightstand when you're done listening to the show in bed and put your player down and then pulling up your Shane R. Monroe blanket sheets to keep the Gen Gimme bugs from biting.

    OK enough with this!
