Well that's Microsoft's fault in not getting the machines made...
Then again, it's also their fault to have a lame version being sold next to a premium one which no doubt probably hurt sales...

Not really. From what I have seen people are buying whatever one they can get their hands on.

I still think it was pointless to make the core system. If they had only made the premium system it would have still sold out. No need for them to get that $299 price point, plus then games could depend on the hard drive instead of having to be playable without one.
