Hey glad you like it, I've been really pleased with the game. As I've said in another post I was very wary of the fact that it was FIFA but fair play to them they've made a great game.

It reminds me both in terms of gameplay and graphics of Fifa 2000 for the Playstation which I had alot of time for. I've just completed a season and all through out the matches I never felt cheated if I lost its because I screwed up which is somthing I've not found with the home console versions (I was West Ham in 7th and Chealsea won the leauge, sounds about right). The match stats and scoring also seemed balanced (not many 1 shot, 1 goal situations). Replays were also a strong point.

I was Very impressed with the sound as well, although the commentry is not overly varied its great to have it. Crowd noise and even the music also impressed me. Difficulty wise I agree with Womp its too easy on the easy modes but (for me any way) Very hard on the upper difficulty levels.

I'm glad I've picked it up if I want to play a quick 5 minute match or play for longer periods its there. I can imagine getting even more out of it when my brother gets his DS.

Deserves its triple A status.

Multplayer with 2 DS's and 1 or 2 carts kicks all ass! My father and I could play it all day, its a BLAST. What is great is the best sports game on the DS right now is the one sports game I couldn't wait to come out.

Totally agree with the above comments, loving this game.

I wanted a Footy handheld until Winning Eleven / Pro Evo came out and this more than fills the gap, I can't believe they have crammed all this stuff on to a cart just bigger than a postage stamp.

All the teams, players, commentary, make your own team facility and single cart multi-player make this must have!

This game has better sound than the N64 versions.

I picked this one up recently on ebay for 13 bucks and it has been worth that much and more. Great little sports game for this great little system.

Hey you guys, what about World Cup? I'm deliberating on what I should get. Should I just take FIFA or does World Cup have anything extra to offer? My team is Ireland, and since they didn't qualify for the World Cup this year, I guess they wouldn't be in the game. So would I just be better off with FIFA 06?

Avoid World Cup. I don't know what the hell they did but the game moves significantly slower than FIFA 06, it has a much more choppy frame rate but is other wise the same game with some minor World Cup additions to the game. My suggestion? Snag 06...It can be found for less than $19.99, plays fantastically and is also IMO one of the two best sports games available next to True Swing Golf on the DS right now otherwise if you have the patience hold out for 07 which is due in October and see what they bring to the table with that. Bottom line is once again that World Cup is the lesser of the two FIFA's out there right now. FIFA Street doesn't count as its an abomination.

im considering getting this for Cube simply for the reason i figured it would be better playing on our obviously bigger TV screen rather than the DS

but the 1-cart multiplayer option and an upcoming vacation is telling me the DS version would be better option but i cant decide...
