bought a ds today, my parents seem to like it.

I finally got around to picking up a ds, i bought 3 games with it mario ds, wario ware, and pac and roll. so far im loving wario ware and pac and roll, but i havent really had the chance to play mario yet.

What i can say though, is the control of the game is brilliant, i got my mom and dad to play wario, and my mom actually beat my high score, shes in her early 40's and has never played video games before.............. so nintendo must be doing something right.

any suggestions on games to pickup for the system ?

Hey shane, i bought nintendogs today, advance wars ds, and ea madden 2006. You know the thing is i dont really want to be a supporter of ea products but they have a monopoly when it comes to sports games.

Besides that i can say the football game is pretty awsome, in the lower screen you can look over the play your about to do, and watch your players run in real time, illustrated with x's. I think the best thing about this is you can tell which guy is in the open very easily, and when changing your plays on the fly its really good too because you dont forget what play you have chosen. I just wish they incorporated a system in which you could draw your own plays. Im not sure if this game has that feature, ive only played it for about an hour or so.

Nintendogs is pretty pimp, its not really as good as i thought it would be mind you ive only played it for about 2 hours and my dog doesnt know very many tricks or anything. I just wish i didnt pick the toy poodle, my parents called if fifi i would have called it killer personally.

I still havent tryed advanced wars, but if you when i do, ill post in here about my impressions over the game. I did try the map editor in the game, its very easy to use, its almost like that tool they used for war craft 2. im getting some good idea's in my head about designing my own maps based on places were i grew up. I think it would be pretty neat to figure out a strategy you could use in that situation.

Anyways, i just wanted to make a quick post about the ds and my games and everything. Its pretty crazy that ive bought 6 games already and have only had the system for 2 days. I really want some more titles but i guess that will be my patience that will help me with that.
