Thread: I can't believe RGR is back!

I can't believe RGR is back!

I can't begin to describe the excitement when I went to RGR's website, hoping to listen to some old wisdom, and found the current show to 2012. At first, I didn't believe it. I thought it was a typo, or I visited the wrong site. I was shocked, and I didn't want to click on the link just in case it was a prank. Glad I did.

    New Format:

I love the technology behind the new format, but in all respect, I don't find it too useful. I rather not look at video or websites while listening. A list of websites on the site was a great resource. Either way, I am so glad it is back, I wouldn't care if Shane decided to post it on a hairy man's chest. LOL!

    The Coming Video Game Crash

Shane was complaining about the video game crash in 2008 and I think it is almost here. Sales have been down and getting worst ever since games went $60. Now with $50/yr subscription to play Call of Duty/MOH while still paying $60 for a retail game has gone to far.

I think the coming of Indie games will see an end to the big three, and the beginning of a whole new error of made for gaming PC with HDMI output. When Diablo 3 gets a 7.5 review and many complaints from users and a $15.00 game like Grimrock gets 8.0 review and amazingly happy users - the game is over.

    Your thoughts everyone?

    Thanks!

We're working on the HTML5 player to accommodate both those that like the tech and those that would rather have it more "the old way". Stay tuned.

THANKS! Please don't mean this as a diss in any way. Your show is the greatest radio program, amateur or professional. Please don't go away again, you really were meant to do this in your life.

I remember being grateful to Shane for releasing shows at 32kbps so I could stream them on 56k through Winamp.
