    Gameboy games on the Wii

Hello everyone. I was wondering if it is possible to get a gameboy game on Wii. Specifically Terminator 2 Judgement Day. I have downloaded Contra 3 from SNES a couple of years ago with points or something. Did anyone else think this game was awesome?

I'm sure there is a GB emu for the Wii. Would need it hacked and Homebrew channel of course.

May not be relevant to the OP but the GBA player is one reason why I've held onto my Gamecube....

Contra 3 is my favorite Contra game. I have it on the Wii as well as the original SNES cartridge. This game makes me remember the early 1990's of gaming. Those were some good times.

Like Shane said you would need an emulator and a hacked Wii to play Gameboy games on the Wii. It might be easier to download a Gameboy emulator on your PC and play your favorite gameboy games.

I was in my 20's as well at the time. I love all of those games too

Metroid 3 was a favorite late in the SNES life cycle for me.

In the early 90's I was in the military at the time in a small town (Beaufort, SC). I would buy most of my SNES games at the local Walmart since that was the biggest retailer in town. I would sometimes drive down to Savannah, GA to hit Electroniques Boutique or Babbages for the bigger selection of games. The local walmart had a pretty good selection though and they even had a Starfox competition there. I remember earning a Starfox T-shirt for taking part in the competition. It was pretty cool.

Arcades back then were still pretty cool too. I remember down in Savannah they had a couple of really nice arcades in the malls. I played a lot of Neo Geo (mostly metal slug) and all the fighting games of the time. I miss the arcades of the 80's and 90's.

I also took part in the Star Fox competition at my local Wallmart, didn't win anything though....
