Diablo 3 will force you to be online even for single player

I've never played a single Diablo game in my entire life.. and I can't say I can even imagine a screenshot. Or wait... it's an isometric game yes?

Is it fun to play? Should I try out Diablo 2 first?

I think Diablo 2 plays @ 800x600 max resolution on your PC & it doesn't like Windows 7 too much. Great game either way. I think you can pick up a battlechest for $20 or so? Can't remember... Diablo is now dead in Normal mode. Game is awesome, imho. Enjoyed it a bunch. Will probably start a new class but I haven't decided. Most people press onto the next difficulty level with their "main"... Here's a video of the first 2 bosses. The Skeleton King & the Butcher. This is in normal mode, btw....

The review of Diablo III in UK magazine gamesTM pointed out that they had server difficulties while trying to review the game, losing items and progress... The introduction of the Auction feature (and real world money) is going to be carnage...
