Infamous 2, gift discussion, and holiday completition memories

I hope everyone had a great Christmas or Hannukah.

Under the tree I found Saints Row the Third. Never really been a fan of GTA or the earlier Saints Row but this game seems to have been receiving a very postiive buzz for how fun it is supposed to be. Wife picked up the game for $29.99 as the DOTD at Best Buy.
Used a 360 points card to pickup the new Marvel Vengeance and Virtue pinball table pack.

Additionally, I had a couple of hours yesterday to put Infamous 2 to bed. I don't quite know what it is about the Infamous series--see comments on not enjoying GTA--but I really enjoy them. I consider it one of my guilty pleasures. I think the game has a very user friendly control scheme and I like the subject matter too. Love the comic storyboard cut scenes. Anyone else play? Reminds me a lot of Unchartered but without the polish and great story. I love Unchartered but I enjoy Infamous more.
Finished it last night. My grade: 9.0 out of 10.

Anyone else have any holiday gaming memories from this year or year's past?

As I mentioned on Google+, I received an ATGames "Gopher" portable handheld. It comes with 20 Sega Genesis games and the emulation is pretty good. It also has an SD Card slot so you can load other games. I am really loving it, the screen is sharp and the battery lasts a good long while.

The screen is AMAZING for this type of OTC type mass produced item, right?

I picked up Rayman Origins as a Christmas present for my youngest child because he loves classic game play and this game sounded right up his alley. He really likes the game so I think it was a good choice for him. I am loving the game too and we are playing together. It is a very polished 2D side scrolling platformer.

Also I am playing Rage as well as XBox Live Arcade games when I have time. Dragon Age was on my list to play but, it will have to wait until next year sometime.

I got a boatload of games but haven't had time to try any of them.
-Call of duty world at war
    -Dead Space 2
    -Blur
    -Shift 2 Unleashed
    -Bulletstorm
    -Batman Arkham City

For a total of 70$, damn, no point in buying most games at release, the prices are going down so fast.

Indeed, I bought one for each of my boys and they all have a superb screen.
