Defender of the Crown Amiga port on iOS $2.99

If any of you are in the same age group as I am then you probably remember drooling over screenshots of Amiga's Defender of the Crown. There are few games I have ever lusted for than DOTC.
Well, an exact--I believe--Amiga port was just released yesterday with the potential of more Cinemaware game ports on the horizon.

I played it for a bit last night and, although not quite as graphically sharp as I remembered, it's a great game. I still get nerd chills when the music starts.

    Recommended for $3.

The problem is, the IOS version is made by Manomio. Manomio is infamous for completely dropping the ball with the C64 app. They don't update it and don't even seem to support it anymore. I can't get on board with a company like that.

Looks like pure Amiga emu too - which means they are pirating the kickstart rom (unless they are in bed with Cloanto).

Gee, I'll think I'll tell them about it

Something about playing Amiga software on an.... Apple... product. Gives me the chills.

I grew up with a ST but I understand the hate. Would have had an Amiga too if other family members would have.
