'Full size tactical RPG' played on a phone... isn't that kind of a misnomer ?![]()
I dunno .. if it was on an iPhone ... someone would be cheering and praising it .. so ...

"How about the parents do their damn job as parents and stop blaming entertainment, art and the media. The artist is not responsible for your kid being a damn idiot." - From Oedipus on Forum one of the funniest things I have ever read!
No, you misunderstand me. I would not want to play a game of this caliber on anything smaller than a tablet. So I would've laughed as well had they said 'full sized RPG on an iPhone'. And it's not even an RPG on a phone that's so funny, just that they specifically call it full-sized, when it's actually anything butIt's like somebody saying 'tall midget' ...

WorknMan, if both of those comments were made by you, you just got pawned.
As for me, not interested in the game. Nice start, but I gave up on the textual "move right", "Your character just moved right and saw a 'Blah blah blah' ". "Move forward. Your character just picked up a 'Blah blah blah and shoved it in your blah.' " type of games in the 80's. Yeah, so it's impressive, yea there's actual video characters, and yea with hours upon hours of time spent clicking left, forward, chosing which character you're trying to move, chosing the attributes, chosing actions, chosing group changes, choosing facial expressions during the actions, chosing whether your character farts during the action, and chosing how bad that fart smells and then wait to see it actually happen after making all those choices...I got over that way to long ago to start over again just because it's on my phone (and I don't like those kinds of current games for my PC either)...and still pay more for it than I would for a lameass indi game on Steam.
Good start though. I hope someone actually takes it to the next level.

Yeah, well...... Why bother?
And remember, nobody does anything they don't CHOOSE to do.
It does look like a nice polished game no matter what the platform. I enjoyed Fire Emblem on my GBA, Final Fantasy Tactics on my DS and Jeanne D'arc is a great PSP game in the same vein but ehh...I am pretty picky with the genre as a whole.

Not digging the 1GB thing. Space tends to be precious on these phones. I suppose one or two oversized games is OK, but hopefully it doesn't become a habit until we get 64GB+ phones as common. One way around this would be to break the game up into two parts, even if they only charge for it once.
