Hey, I'm in a ranting mood today... hope you guys don't mind
Penny Arcade Expo fans come out against booth babes

Maybe this is one more sign that I'm getting old, but seriously ... when did tits and ass start being a bad thing? Anybody? I don't think I ever got that memo. I see this crap on the IMDB forums, where people complain about too much nudity in horror movies. WTF?
Here's a little quote from the article:
Ahhh, so you'd rather not have a bunch of scantly clad chicks hanging out with you, but it's ok if she's dressed up like Princess Peach? It seems that those going to PAX want to see and learn about the games, not ogle scantily clad ladies who pretend to really like having their picture taken with sometimes-stinky gaming fans. Giving more breathing room to cosplayers is also a nice touch, as fans dressing up like their favorite character has always been a large part of the show experience... even (especially?) if the outfits are titillating.
I say the more hot chicks there are, the merrier. And if there are so many of them around that they're just getting in the way, whether that be at a party, at work, at church, or at a funeral, that sounds to me like a high quality problem. Hell, as long as they're hot, let 'em show up naked if they want.
Of course, I guess saying something like that isn't very politically correct, is it?Apparently, we're being demonized if we like to admire how beautiful and sexy women are (you know, cuz that's shallow and sh*t), but we're not supposed to even think about buying an mp3 player unless it comes in 16 different colors, and has a form factor pretty enough that we want to f**k it. But noticing there's a hot blonde in visual range with a nice pair of jahoobies? Oh no, we can't have any of that. We get vilified for treating women like inanimate objects, but on the other hand, we openly ogle at inanimate objects like they are women. Somehow, I think we've got our signals crossed.
And trust me, the irony that the iPhone 4 was released today is not lost on me ...
