Monroe-A-Palooza 2010: Here Come the Giveaways!

Without question, one of the funnest parts of of MAP the last two years has been the world famous giveaways event. The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, the wheeling and dealing, and the wisecracking viewers watching the live feed--the event has it all.

And one thing is clear, everyone walks away from MAP with something cool, much to the benefit of the Fedex Kinkos next door (they should be an official sponsor for all the business we give them hehe). Oh, and there are also always tales to tell of confused airport security personnel who don't quite know what to make of that 30 year old Merlin handheld and whether or not it's a detonator of some kind.

This year will be no different, as we have been stockpiling goodies throughout the year in anticipation of the event. Here is just a sample:

Sorry if my comment came across as derogatory... that's not what I intended Actually, I have a friend with a Wii, so if I win anything Wii-related, I can give it to her, and would still be able to enjoy it myself.

Well, there are six DS games in there too hehe. And yeah, my contribution tends to be Nintendo focused--the way I see it, this is my chance to hook folks up with some good games they may not have played throughout the year. The past two years, the Wii got a lot of attention at the show with all the Wii Sports Resort, Boom Blox, and other stuff we played over the weekend.
