That Logitech tech support story was definitely the highlight of the show. How often you get tech support like that? I think you are one of the few people who get freebees from tech support from Logitech. Usually, you don't get that and many companies try to discourage it. I suspect that person that received your support had to write something in their report to their bosses so that you yourself would be able to get the remote for free. Even though the report had nothing what you reported, that person was a genius to think of an good excuse to their bosses to give you a free remote. You ought to thank that person if you got his/her name.

Is there a Price soda website which tracks all of this Shane? you could start a website like that - Tracks all the soda price wars and where to buy and eat. Could make millions

Shane you suck... you might as well have missed Star Wars and be bashing Star Wars.. (sorry to say it) - but it is true.
Star wars was nothing new.. people like you would have hated it at first and refuse to see it.. Don't believe me go back and look at the first critic reviews of star wars! ahahahahah
you'll be wanting to go see it when the sequel comes out or re-release in theater or imax.

LOL! uh I've seen real women who look hot, that are not airbrushed. The characters in Avatar didn't have huge tits or were un-realistic and over the top.
If it was then yeah i'd be agreeing with you!

LOL the remote story is hilarious! "The Play button is missing - you IDIOT!"
But yeah nice enough of her to give you a remote.

Luckily, we don't have to count waste at Taco Bell unless the ICOS (ingredient cost, a number based on sales and allowed waste compared with actual inventory) is to high. Of course, since about every fast-food restaurant allows free refills in dining room, drink waste isn't really measurable.
But you're right about drinks being a huge profit margin. We're encouraged to upsell drinks, Fruitistas, and the new Limeaid Sparklers, and drink sale percentages are shown for each cashier on the day report (and free cups of water don't count.) For those who don't know, we get the soda in 5-pound boxes that cost around $50 I think. These get mixed in the system with 5.1 times carbonated water (or regular water for Pink Lemonade and such). So one cup of Dr. Pepper syrup makes 6.1 cups soda. I'd imagine the CokeBox (sounds like slang for a drug seller hideout) Shane mentioned probably has some sort of CO2 input from the restaurant's own drink system.
I doubt the soda price wars count in Disney World. It's too easy to sell a large Coke on a hot Florida day. Good thing we're bringing bottled water from Costco!

Few printers will turn down work. They aren't in the business of judging graphic design or actually helping anyone with marketing or branding -- because many places simply think they already know everything about those subjects, or "they know what appeals to people who will shop here." A printer is far better off just taking their money. And, frankly, business turnover can HELP printers ... how many small businesses have ratty, sun-faded signs? Those businesses aren't spending money at a print shop. A new business, however, is!

As for feminists not liking porn, that's a big stereotype that is, in my experience, untrue. But saying that porn stars make millions of dollars is only true in very limited circumstances -- the average chick in the average porn video is getting less than 1K for her day's work, and she ain't working five days a week.
