    Donkey Kong Country - GBA

Has anyone played this game yet? Is it any good (worth the money)?

Uh, do you like Donkey Kong Country?

I have played it, and I enjoyed it like I enjoyed the SNES version. The one catch is that the graphics are a bit brighter.

Overall, I don't think it is worth the purchase. (kthnxnintendorehash)

Actually I never had a SNES. The game looked neat at the time. I think I played it alittle in the stores and thought (at the time) that is was fine. I just wondered how it was on the GBA.

Rent it. It's not a very long game.

Where the heck can you rent GBA games?

Seriously, there's dozens of games I want to try on GBA and at $30 each, I can't afford to take a risk.

Really? I'll have to take a look. Last time I checked, not a single Blockbuster in my area carries GBA games. Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox games sure, but not GBA games.

Yeah, it sure does. In fact, the one I used to live by a year ago had it too. I've never rented a GB game myself, but may take advantage of it if they still have that Freedom Pass thing.

I was on that pass when it was $14.99 introductory ... that was fair ..

But $19.99 for ONE game out at a time - per month - pass on the pass.

I was on it when it was TWO games out at one time. Then they took it away and reintroduced it as the one game out at one time. I suppose if you live close enough to one (I do), it's worth it, but frankly I have so many games now to get through on GC, GBA, Xbox, PS2 and PC, I would be wasting my money at this point. Hell, I'm even behind on my Xbox and PS2 demo disks... Eventually though I certainly plan on doing it.
