Another great show this week guys. Dont worry about going too long. Some of us love the long podcasts. I am a Letter Carrier up here in Washington state and the podcasts help me to make it through some long boring days. Chris, you really struck a chord with a couple of things you said during the podcast. I too associate certain times in my life with the game I was playing at the time. It usually seems to happen with handhelds because I take my DS with me wherever I go, and I think I might have some time to kill. Sometimes just hearing the music from the game will bring back good, or even on a rare occasion bad memories. I also totally understand what you meant when you said that reading, or hearing the word "squad" in regards to a FPS instantly made you lose interest in the title. I feel the same way. When I venture online to play Modern Warefare 2, I am so busy trying to stay alive for more than a few seconds that the last thing I want to worry about is trying to direct or coordinate with a squad. I guess I am more of a Metroid Prime guy where you are all alone facing the enemy. I really enjoy hearing Alex on the show now. I love his optimistic take on gaming. It is a refreshing change from the "hardcore" gamers on some of the other gaming podcasts. An update on Miles Edgeworth, I am on the 4th case now, and I am still enjoying the game. Maybe I am really stupid, but I got completely stuck a couple of times and had to go on to Game Faqs for help. I recently purchased Endless Ocean 2 mainly because it is something Me and my 5 year old daughter can play together. It was priced pretty reasonably, $29.99, and it comes bundled with Wii Speak so it seems like a pretty good deal, and so far my daughter loves it. Well thanks again for the podcast and keep up the good work. Sorry Shane you are awesome too! I know you work really hard on the site and I didnt want you to think I was leaving you out of the lovefest. Have a great rest of the week and I will post again soon.
