It's been a while since I've posted on the forums. Just last night, Chris told me Shane's house was robbed (Shane, sorry to hear, sir).

An event has taken place that I thought would not. Even Shane was in this boat at one point. My Youtube account, for no rhyme or reason, has been suspended. Something having to do with terms of service violation. Now let me point something out. Some of my videos were "blocked" in some countries cause I had either a Billy Joel song, or some copyrighted material that (at first) Youtube didn't seem to be too overly concerned with, and simply said "Ok, we'll block said video in Germany because you're using material from X company, blah blah, etc".

I can live with that. I don't know anyone in Germany, so the Germans miss out on some VMTV goodness. No big deal and/or loss.

The last Youtube message I get was 2 days ago, at least. A comment on my profile asks when the next show will come out. Last night, I try to log in, and it tells me "Nope, no can do. Your account was disabled"

I know for a lot of you, this is nothing new. Lots of people have had their accounts closed/disabled/suspended at one time or another. Some of you don't even bother with Youtube for several reasons. I sympathize with ya, totally. The ads, and stupid videos, the list goes on.

I had about 1,000+ subscribers. 1/10 of them or less are members on the VMTV forums, and these forums. Youtube was the only place they would stream the video. I am also on blip.tv, veoh, viddler, vimeo, google video, you name it. But no one shows up there, cause Youtube appears to be the only game in town.

So life goes on. At least my videos are still on my computer, so I didn't really lose much (I think, have to double check that)

I thought I would give you all a heads up, those of you who are followers or fans, or just casual viewers of the show, unless this suspension is just temporary, we are officially done with Youtube. I think in the future, we may just stream the shows off the website, or just provide a download link only. We'll see what happens.

I'm not going to concern myself with all this right now, as I'm having some health issues. The stress of personal life, money, job (thankfully still have one), bills, coupled with trying to get the show out on time has taken its toll, and has given me breathing problems, a side order of depression, and about 15 or so extra pounds from eating too many McD's sandwiches.

So we'll be canceling the January, 2010 show, and just moving the content into February's show. Meantime, I'll just take a step back, relax a bit. Maybe some GTA IV will cheer me up.
