As a big fan of indie games, yes I have played this game and it's very enjoyable. It's not too hard and not too easy with a good hint system. It's very charming.

    I agree 100%, it's amazing, I really love it!

And I'm so getting this too :-)

By the way, glad to see another fan of indie games on the forum!

Signed up today after coming here for the radio show (but after seeing it has been over a year since a show, well, that might no longer be going on). Anyhow, saw the forums here, found this post about Machinarium and decided to sign up so I could post.

Machinarium is a great game, I love it. I have written about it before and got in on an early build of it and was able to catch the last bit of development. It is such a good game, hopefully more people will check it out.

    Machinarium rejected by XBLA

“Microsoft just refused Machinarium for XBLA after a half year of talking with them. They like the game and know it would be very successful on their platform, but they don’t want to support games which aren’t Microsoft exclusives. Machinarium isn’t, since we’ve also released versions for Mac and Linux. We have another option to approach some big publisher to bring the game to XBLA, which is quite absurd to do and lose maybe a large part of revenue because of that.”
