    Club Nintendo Adding New Rewards

Just received this message from Nintendo--seems they are beginning to add new rewards for Club Nintendo. Time for the usual suspects to start bitching about how this free stuff isn't good enough hehehehe.

Two sets of greeting cards. The sets each feature three different designs of beloved images from the Super Mario Bros.™ and Nintendogs™ series. Each set of 12 greeting cards is available for 300 Coins.
Three different sets of folders featuring designs from the Super Mario Bros. series. The sets contain three different folders and include three matching bookmarks. Each set is available for 250 Coins.
Club Nintendo has also rolled out a series of bonus surveys designed to give members the chance to provide feedback about the club – and earn even more Coins. That makes it easier than ever for members to get their hands on the Rewards they want.

Club Nintendo lets consumers earn Coins for registering and answering surveys about Nintendo products. Coins can then be redeemed for exclusive Rewards items from Nintendo. For more information about how to join Club Nintendo and earn Rewards, visit http://club.nintendo.com.

Hey I am still annoyed that they never made the Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack available here in the states yet Club Nintendo Japan members could get that as a reward. We get greeting cards and folders? Bah.

I almost have 800 coins again and the only reward item that interests me is Game and Watch collection. I guess I will get another copy of that. At least it's better than the old days where I kept getting a free 3 month subscription of Nintendo Power. Club Nintendo Japan is way better in my opinion.

Still hot under the collar about 3DS specs and price? Well, now you can cool off with one of these free Nintendo fans which will be available tomorrow from Club Nintendo for a mere 300 points.

More free sh*t to complain about--who says Nintendo doesn't know what gamers really like?

Oh god, the fans piss me off so much but I"m also compelled to get one! All joking aside, it's an interesting item that I never could have thought up myself. Do I spend 300 points for one or do I wait for the inevitable moment when they put something megaton up there?

Why do you say "free" if they cost you points?

By "points" I didn't mean Nintendo points (the kind you pay for to buy WiiWare or DSiWare)--it's 300 Club Nintendo points or "coins" that you get free for filling out surveys about the games you buy.
