If that's the case, it would be in line with Nintendo's minimalist tendencies with regards to cost and form-factor. Whichever route they take, my guess is that while they will certainly support HDTV's, they likely will trade power for efficiency once again and leave the arms race to Sony and Microsoft.
More the issue is that Larabee is not a proven solution that is as good as or better than today's solutions at least proof wise. It does look good on paper since the GPU would be on the CPU die. I think an AMD solution would be better here.
