The thing that will really set this release apart is the inclusion of the new documentary "Beware the Moon".

Hopefully when Jaws is released on Blu they include the new Jaws Documentary "The Shark is Still Working".

    Sweet freakin' deal at Fry's!

So, American Werewolf in London on Blu-Ray is on sale this week for $17.77 - which is decent on it's own.

As a bonus, they throw in a coupon for $5 of free candy from Target, Walmart or one of dozens of other stores.

So, net price on the Blu Ray? $12.77

    WHAT A BARRRRGAIN!

Probably never at this rate. Which really really really angers me.

That edition of Stargate is one of the first Blu releases. Its not bad looking by any means but it could of been much better. The new release will include both cuts of the
film along with many extras. Worth the wait if you ask me.

Edit: Then again this is coming from the guy who bought the re-edit of the pilot for Stargate SG-1 known as Children Of The Gods for $14.99. Excuse me while I lean my arse over while Teal'c shoves his staff weapon straight on in....

Looking at the DVD release I'm sure it will get 5 more other rereleases after that one too.

$10 was fine for me...I had the original 1996 DVD so this is a decent upgrade that looks much nicer in any case. Looks like **** as a blu-ray, yes, but still a marked improvement. heh.

I figure since its a few months away I'll just hold off. Besides I can wait a bit longer after the 2 disc edition is out for that to drop it price. Trust me it won't stay $19.99 for long.
