    Problems with Usb Loader....Please Help

I have a modded wii with a d2pro chip, I am running cIOS Rev9 with a Iomega 500gb usb pocket drive.

I have the drive formatted to wfs with wbfs manager 1.0 with punchout on the drive, I have tried both usb loader 1.0 and 1.1 and I keep getting the same error - unable to initialize usb subsys

I have tried the drive in both usb slots and get the same error for each, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Shane I know you and I are in town together, if I could meet with you for some help on this it would really help me a lot

Sounds like your problem may be the cIOS....Try snagging cIOS 249 rev 14 perhaps? That is what I used. Your cIOS may be lacking USB drive support.

BTW, what were you using over the weekend to create a hotspot from your cell?

Yeah, you sound like you have too old of CIOS ... Get the latest, try that.

There may be incompatibilies with that drive too - I haven't checked the compatibility list, but I'm sure you have ....?

Assuming you formatted the drive to WBFS before loading the game, correct?

Also, I'd use usb loader gx personally. Aside from being the most feature rich, compatibility seems to be highest with the gx loader.

USB Loader GX owns. I'm glad I did this now rather than earlier because the latest advancements to this whole thing seem so much nicer than when it first dropped onto the scene.

Yeah, I dropped out of using the loader for a while--didn't want to deal with keeping up with every little version change. Things seem to be stable now and the loader is a heck of a lot easier to set up with that GX executable that basically sets your SD card up for you.

That drive should be ok I'm running the same brand type just a 250.

Your cIOS is a bit of an older version try updating to the latest one. I think is cIOS Rev14 also try a different more recent loader Configurable usb loader or usb loader gx
