So, yesterday I picked up my third Wii.
(For the record i sold my two previously for more than I bought them for, and the reason why I bought one again was because of Motion+)
Okay, so listen to this for bad trading!
I bought a discounted Wii because it was traded in without Wii Sports, but was advertised with 5x virtual console games. Which is odd because under the re-sale agreement stores are meant to totally wipe the hard drives of machines so DLC purchases become redundant and second hand stores cannot profit of the retail of second sale DLC.
I got the console and bought Wii Play & Mario & Sonic at the Olympics.
1) The console had all the details of the previous owner on, so that the virtual console games remained on the hard drive
2) In store there was a first generation Wii Sports for sale (the one in the original plastic box) How can they sell this and how did the acquire it in the first place? Probably from the Wii that was traded in that I bought!
3) Mario & Sonic at the Olympics & Wii Play had deep scratches and reproduced disc errors after little play
4) The store valued the DLC on the receipt of which the 5 games totalled to £15.00
So, i'm going back there today to open up a can of whoopass at their illegal tradings and will be demanding a copy of Wii Sports that they are selling as compensation for the 5x Virtual Console games i've now lost due to re-registering the Wii under my ownership.
I'm totally disgusted, the retailer in question? CEX

If anyone would like to second my complaint to them about their illicit trading methods i'd appreciate it, this company has already annoyed me due to their ridiculous queue times (due to bad management) I bought the Wii for £120.00 pre-owned which wasn't a bad price, but with all of these problems including the ones for the extra purchases I made, I wish i went elsewhere. Anyone else had problems verging on the ridiculous like this?
