Damn, throw your partner under the bus ... sheeze ...

Yeah, after I thought about it - I realized you can't really "weigh" a volumetric ... I was thinking about "a gallon of water" - which would have made more sense.

The avatar comment regarding the high score postings in a vitrual space in the nintendo community. What I would love to see is a virtual environment where the space looks like an arcade and you go next to a game cabinet named "Tetris DS" and within this you can see who is playing and even watch a game someone is playing. That would be very cool. Let's say Shane is on the last level of one of the Final Fantasy games, you would be able to see Shane in action, like you did when someone was kicking butt at a game in the arcade.

Do you have to wait in line to play?

Get your quarters lined up on the cabinet.

The best Nintendo DS/Wii social network in my opinion right now is DSR. For people who are hardcore DS & Wii players this is the best community to be a part of. Right now this space on the web is the best place to find friend codes and to interact.

You know what would be cool is with the New DSi while you are playing a game with the wifi connection you can see the other person and hear them with the wii speaker. kind of like ustream or stickam I can see Shane going live at a gamestop and you can see his video steam along with the audio from the DS mic. LIVE from gamestop waiting to get the latest game that is coming out that day.

I was making a dig at Sony's Home thing where your digital avatar has to wait in line to actually play the game in an online virtual space. heh.

Thanks for the kind words on DSR! Honestly I look around and have yet to see anything resembling what is going on over at WiFi uplink, even from Nintendo themselves.

There are tons of "wannabes" out there that have "trade friend codes" but it always ends up being some "forum thread".

What Uplink needs NOW is to allow the "inactive" setting on a game - so you know if someone is still playing it or not.

There is a ton of inefficient code over at the Uplink that drastically needs cleaning up that will make it a TON faster -- I know it's almost a drag as it is now.

Uplink still doesn't work for me--the list of games used to come up on the left side so you could add codes for games you own and look up friends. It doesn't show up anymore.

I've tried on different PC's and with both Firefox and IE--same problem.

I'm sure it works fine in Opera.
