    troubles with NesDS...?

hello all, i come over from the cyclo forums and am hoping you can help me with your wealth of knowledge

I've been having some trouble getting NesDS to work on my cyclo. when i go into it, no folder navigation comes up at all, just the black screen with 'NesDS' written up top above the white line.
I have tried many combinations of putting the start file in the root with roms folder in games folder and so on and its always just the black screen.
I'm pretty certain theres nothing wrong with the file as i've downloaded it several times from different locations, and the very same file has been working on my friends R4.

any ideas what i've done wrong, or heard anything like it happening?

Yeah it's happened to me as well, the only solution I have found has been to back up your Cyclo's content and do a quick reformat of the MicroSD.

No clue what the deal is but I think it has something to do with the file structure over time...

BTW welcome to the forums, great screen name too!

Nice to see you over here, man!

Yeah, it seems that emu is really pissy about fragmentation.

Let us know if that doesn't work ...

i must say, nice forum you got here

EDIT; found a program....is fine just to copy over all files to back up (including cyclo system files) then copy them all back over as is once refomatting is complete?

    worked like a charm, cheers
this has had me pulling my hair out for days trying to figure out a solution, i shouldve guessed a reformat would do the trick

was a bit wary of copying files back over because i cant remember doing it when i first got the cyclo, but it seemed to work fine

    thanks again for the help
