I spend $9 and bought an eSata bracket for my PC...

    http://www.amazon.com/2PORT-Sata-Esa...8685625&sr=8-5

Installation is brain dead easy and now my eSata compatible EZ-Dock is now netting me 100MB/sec! In Wii terms that's about 50 ISOs moved over in about 5 minutes. Forget this all day and night crap.

Go eSata! Of course, you have to have a free internal Sata port inside your PC still, but I have like 8 Sata slots in this case, so I'm all set.

Man, this is INSANE how fast this is ....

Yep, it's the only way to go with these docks. My Thinkpad has an eSATA port so it was a no-brainer. I can't go back to USB on external drive now

Dude, that was the whole point of getting one of these external docks for me. I hooked it up to eSata right from the beginning. Hell I was using it as my primary OS drive while testing 64bit Win7.

Need longer cable ... heh ... It supports hot swap too. In Win7 at least, if you turn off the dock, you lose the whole drive until you reboot next.

Got the part A done. B- D "I have no Idea where this stuff is.

    Part A: DONE!!
Start DOP-Mii via Homebrew Channel and press A to continue.
Go down once to select Install IOS36 (v3351) w/FakeSign.

    Part B - Downgrading IOS15 to v257:

    Part C - Installing IOS36 with FakeSign

    Part D - Restoring IOS15 v523

Sad but I am lost at this time.

Do you not understand HOW to do this, or are you unsure what it means?

There should be options for downgrading right there in the menu.

    Little of both.

The instructions from USBloader tell me to go do this part (complete)
The b-d parts, are they imbeded in the IOS36 part?
I just dont see what to do for these parts.
From what I read DOPMII has everything but I guess I am just missing the obvious.

Needless to say when I try to get the usbloader working it simply does not.
    Thanks

Try running PIMP MY WII ... it MIGHT do the downgrading for you.

    I ran that too.
Think that I may have done everything right but need to test the system.
Got a funny feeling that I missed somthing.

I am able to run the SNES emulator off the SD card.
Now to try the back up thing.
    Looking into that now.

There is one part where you need a hacked IOS to kinda be the ROOT of all evil. Once you have that, everything else falls into place.
