Yes, SDHC is supported on both Wii and DSi. I have an 8gb one in my Wii right now, which is kind of a waste since I own tons of games and am nowhere near filling it. To be honest, a 2gb or 4gb one would be fine for most folks.

I am still using a 2 GB one ... lots of room left.
No, nothing yet to run Ware/VC off USB .. because, I imagine, that there is a hard lock they cannot get around with regards to the product HAVING to run from Wii memory.

"Consider the improbable is possible"
I wish I didn't unmod my Wii. I got tired of having to fight Nintendo, and it looks like they've given up since the horrible 4.2 update.
Heh, I'm still running the Homebrew Channel upside down.
Small price to pay for me.
Turn your Wii upside down....that should fix it.![]()

Tripped the hammer...it fell down!
Ok, so it finally happened. Had a family gathering yesterday, my son got the Iron Man 2 game. When I left the room, someone opened the game and put it in the Wii before I had a chance to copy it to the hard drive. It wanted to update and they said yes. So now the Wii was up to Nintendo's 4.2, which of course broke my USB Loader. Did some searching and decided to try the "Safe Firmware Updater" in haste. It ran flawlessly, but of course didn't fix my USB Loader problem. Since I already have one bricked Wii in the basement, I would rather not have a second. Since I loaded the Safe Firmware Updater over Nintendo's 4.2, I should only need to update the IOS right? If so, which one?
You can recover a 4.2 Wii ... I don't have the links here at work, but I'll shoot you something later. NO Wii is failsafe anymore. Google search "BannerBomb 4.2" and you should find a detailed description.

The Wii that is bricked wasn't 4.2. The one I need to fix the USB Loader was at ****ikos(sp) 4.1u Firmware running USB Loader GX 1. Everything was fine. Then my son updated it to Nintendo's 4.2u. I found the Safe Firmware Updater 4.2 and ran it over Nintendo's 4.2u and the system is running normal. My problem is my USB Loader GX no longer runs. Does something like a core dump. What I think I need to do is update some CIOS/IOS (249?), but I want to make sure I don't brick this Wii also.
Try Pimp My Wii ... been most useful.

Wii System Update 4.3 kills Homebrew Channel, kills Bannerbomb
