Wii's USB Loader has dropped ...

We've gone the full mile .. you can now plug in a phat USB drive to your Wii, format it, copy games to it and play them off of it.

    It's 1.0 for sure, but ... wow ...

Is this out yet? The first article linked to in Google said it's not yet ready for 'public consumption'... also, do you need a mod chip for this?

Wow--sucks I don't have the Homebrew Channel on my Wii.

Is this for WiiWare/VC/homebrew or is it for disc images?

Apparently, it does wonders on load times.
    Version 1.1 is out now.

Wonder if I'd be able to use this? As long as I have HBC installed will it work?

My kid loves to press the eject button on the Wii and it'd be nice to not have to keep or worry about discs in it. heh.

You must have a CIos installed for it to work, if i'm not mistaken. And it must be installed prior to updating to the 4.0U firmware. You don't have to be on 4.0 for it to work though.

Sorry, Womp. You're out. It requires a new CIOS to be installed to play.

That's where you get it. I don't see 1.1 anywhere yet.
