Wrestling makes a great focal point for nostalgia. The toys, the games, the ads, the movie tie-ins. It connects to everything else that was happening at the time. Also reminds you of the better memories of your life. I can better remember the day first nephew was born because Rick Flair had reclaimed the world title.
