    To name a few.

    Lumines - Great puzzle game.

Had a sequel but it's song/skin selection was not as good imo. Also the many other console versions fail to capture the look an feel on psp. Play it with headphones an enjoy.

Ridge Racer - Very impressive to see it first running on psp. At a silky smooth frame rate. Nice selection of songs to. Had a sequal but hardly adds anything to it.

    Everybody's Golf 2
    - I've put loads of time into this one more so than the tigerwood's series. It's a very nice golf game. Has a wide selection of courses an secrets an many characters to pick from. There's loads to unlock. I'l even go an say I enjoy this more than the console tigerwood's, The courses are better an it's just more fun.

    Wipeout Pure

Great portable of wipeout It's worth running on custom firmware an boost the mhz to 333 for smoother gameplay. Has a sequal (wipeout pulse)

    Super Stardust Portable

I was a big fan of the amiga one an was expecting to hate this but I ended up enjoying it.

    Yggdra Union -

Enchanced Port of the GBA version. Yggdra is a tactical rpg. I highly reccommend it. You have a card system which is used for movement an different skills. Also you can form union attacks an unleash massive damage . The AI can also do the same so it's important to check everything before you attack. It has a rock paper like system of sword vs axe vs bow etc.

    Riviera

Enchanced port of the GBA version

Another rpg from sting an localized by atlus. Hard one to describe this. It like uses a tile based map to move from screen to screen an you engage in battles. You have a limit to the number of times you can use items or weapons also there are many choices you can make through the dungeons this effects the score you will recieve at the end of each dungeon.

    Tekken Dark Ressurection

Like the tekken series? can't go wrong with this

What kind of games do you like?

I'm not a fan of the endless reading in Japanese RPGs. Besides that, I'll play just about anything. What I've found so far is Lumines 2, Space Invaders Extreme and End War.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try some of these out. I have tried out some of them, though. I'll try not to complain for a couple of days.

My favourites so far are Wipeout Pure, Everybody's Golf and Burnout Legends... I'm excited by this thread as I'm looking for new gaming leads.

I love playing Hot Shots Golf. I wish they would make one similar for the DS.

I have Everybody's Gold World Tour on the PS3 and believe it to be next to perfect as a single player experience. However the online bit sucks and that's a shame...

I just need to find version two for the PSP and try that now ... still expensive even on ebay.

The first one on PSP is cheap and just as good. From what I have played of both it seems like the only big change between the two of them were more unlockable costumes.

While not "Hot Shots" True Swing is a fantastic round of golf on the DS and uses similar mechanics but adapted to the touch screen.

So after playing a bunch of Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony I have to say that I think I prefer Untold Legends more. I find Dungeon Siege much too easy and repetitive, the fighting in it just doesn't 'hook' me as being as satisfying. True this entire genre is repetitive at its core but it just doesn't give me the "I HAVE to continue on!" vibe as much as Untold Legends is granting me thus far.

Either way, both are solid dungeon hack and slashers I'd recommend if you are a fan of the genre.

    Some of my favorites;

After Burner Black Falcon: Sort of an offshoot of the After Burner Climax arcade game and the closest thing to a home port of it.

Burnout Legends and Dominator: The crashes are not as cool as the ps2 games, but the gameplay works.

Asphalt GT 2 (eu import): A sooped up port of the DS version. Kind of a Burnout clone, but has even more of an arcadey feel to it, sort of feels like what if Midway made Burnout.

There are some good classic upgrades that are unique to psp: Megaman X Maverick Hunter, Megaman Powered Up, Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, Powerstone Collection, Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, and Ultimate Ghosts And Goblins.

Played an hour or so of Jeanne D'Arc last night, not bad. I've never been a huge fan of turn based RPGs, but I'm sort of getting used to the concept recently. The Animated seqences and back and forth chit chat are little long, but once you get passed that, the actual gameplay is pretty good.
