    Wanted (2008)

    Watched WANTED last night.

Sweet Jesus, what a ride! I loved this movie. Seeing that it stars Angeline Jolie I thought that it was gonna blow, but I was so wrong, in fact the movie is not really not about her, she's just a supporting character, even if all movie posters focus on her for some reason.

The effects are mind blowing, they overdo the whole bullet time deal, but it works. And the sound effects, man. This is the kind of film you want to see on the big screen.

I imagine the Blu-Ray cut looks outstanding. Watch it now.

Wow, and I was ready to come in and assist you in thrashing it.

There isn't a single realm of possibility in ANY portion of this film. Suspension of disbelief only works when its even remotely feasible.

    This film was just laughable.

Guess I pushed all the I BELIEVE buttons available

I didn't take it seriously at all. To me it was as much fantasy as Transformers or Hancock. But it was fun to experience.

Agreed. The best part of the movie for me was when Morgan Freeman said, "SHOOT THIS MOTHER F***ER!"
A THRILLING battle! More EXCITING than ever!

    Ok .. it's like this ...

When you do crazy stuff that isn't possible, something needs to be there to explain it (for me, anyway).

For example - if Jackie Chan does a flick and he is obviously using wires, that sucks all the fun out of it. Now, if he is wearing a magic suit, or possesses magic, or something like that, he's SUPPOSED to be able to do things that aren't possible.

Yeah; I guess there wasn't any explanation on how a dude is able to essentially fly from one building to another.

What about the bullets? The magic bath? Shooting someone from a car, flying over another car after ANOTHER car HAPPENED to slam on the brakes to provide a "ski" ramp first so they could kill the guy with bullet proof glass WITH the top down?

    Please.

Laughable, yes. But entertaining (to me at least).

It's not like we were watching a docudrama .

No but there's an early sex act with a hot blonde. Only the guy's ass is shown.
